Imagine learning without the bureaucracy of forms and finances. Free Skools accomplish just that. With roots in the anarchist Modern Schools of Spain from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, free skool is a decentralized network of people, in which skills, information, and knowledge are shared voluntarily, and where the top-down hierarchy of a traditional, teacher/student relationship is turned sideways. These types of anti-authoritarian skools are still active today in Australia, Canada, England, and in cities across the US. Acting collectively and autonomously, Free Skool participants take a decentralized approach to teaching and skill sharing.   Produced by the student reporters of Radio Journalism 101, w/ production assistance from Vinny Lombardo.
